okies. todae is e biology HEART lesson! (:

heart
pericardium

functions. - restrict excessive movement of the heart
- acts as a lubricated container

consists of - fibrous pericardium
- serous percardium
> parietal layer
> visceral percardium
-pericardical cavity which contain the perocardical fluid

* the following pictures are drawn by me and written by ME! * :D

ANATOMY of heart

-4chambers-

RIGHT atrium : receive blood from

-superior vena cava

-inferior vena cava

-coronary sinus

: made up of pectinate muscles

: has fossa ovalis

RIGHT AV valves : consists of - 3cusps (tricuspid)

- chordae tendinae

-papillary muscles

RIGHT VERTICAL : pump blood thru pulmonary trunk to lungs

- made up of trabernae cornae

RIGHT pulmonary semilunar valves

contains 3semilunar cusps

LEFT ATRIUM : -receive blood from

- 2 (R) pulmonary veins

- 2 (L) pulmonary veins

-NO pectinate muscles

LEFT AV valves : -consists of 2cusps (bicuspid)

-chordae tendinae

-papillary muscles

LEFT VENTRICAL : - 3 x thicker than (R)ventrical

LEFT aortic semilunar valves : consist of 3 symmetric cusps

CORONARY circulation

2 coronary arteries :

(R) and (L)

right CA - divides into

MARGINAL BRANCHES and (R) POSTERIOR DESCENDING ARTERY

supply - (R) atrium

- portion of both ventricals

- interventrical septum

-*o0ps* cant rmber!!*

left CA - divides into

CIRCUMFLEX ARTERY and (L) ANTERIOR DESCENDING ARTERY

- supply - (L)ventrical

-(L) atrium

- intervertical septum

VEINS - cardiac artery

-great cardiac

-middle cardiac

-posterior cardiac

combines into coronary sinus and drain into (R) atrium

SYSTEMIC circulation!

main artery : AORTA

main veins : superior vena cava and inferior vena cava

AORTA

- ascending aorta

-arch of aorta

-descending aorta

ASCENDING AORTA : where coronary artery is found. (:

ARCH of AORTA : - brachiocephalic artery( - (R) common carotid and subclavain )

-(L) common carotid artery

-(L) subclavian artery

DESCENDING AORTA

- thoracic artery -supply Percardium, Intercoastal spaces, Bronchi and Oesophagus

- abdominal artery ( R and L commn iliac )

VENOUS

-external jugular vei

-internal jugular vein

-vertebral vein

upper limbs - axillary veins - subclavian veins

subclavian veins with external and internal jugular vein form brachiocephalic vein.

2 brachiocephalic form SUPERIOR vena cava

lower limbs - external iliac - common iliac vein- INFERIOR vena cava

hms.. eveything is wad i learn todae. *any mistakes .. please CORRECT me! * - theres more .. but i lazy type lerhs! :P okies. end of todae. gonna study more alr! *muacks* wish me LUCK!! :DD
